twilight?!?!?!

Okay, so I never got into the whole twilight thing. To be honest I thought it was all kind of dumb. Everyone was always talking about it and telling me I needed to read the books. I didn't and I think that was mostly because everyone was. Well, Amy talk Craig and I in to going to the movie with her and Eric. I really liked the movie and thought maybe I would read the book. Craig thought I was dumb for wanting to read the book after seeing the movie, but I started it and didn't get very far with it. I took it with me to San Francisco to read while at the airport. I have loved it. I read every spare minute I get. I am now almost done with new moon. I guess I am a late commer, but am now realizing what all the fuss was about....

This past weekend Craig and I went to San Francisco with Mom and Kane.
We had such a great time. It rained the entire time we were there, but that didn't stop us. We walked all along the pier and went to all the shops. Mom had an unberella in the car, but Kane wouldn't go get it. He kept saying "it will blow over". It was really funny. I finally bought my mom another unberella. That night we went to Tommy Emmanuel's concert. He is amazing.... The next couple of days we just drove and saw sights, shopped and ate and ate and ate.... We had such a great time and can't wait for the next trip......

Happy Birthday Jaxon!

Happy Birthday Jaxon! I can't believe Jaxon is 5. Time goes by so fast. Jaxon is such a fun kid and always has been. He has definately got a stubborn bone in his body, but that makes him him. He is always making us laugh. We are so blessed to have him a part of our family....
For his birthday he wanted to have a sleepover party. He has been planning this party for months. We did it the weekend before his birthday. He invited some of his cousins (Kip, Sier, Braxton and Nicole). His brother and sisters and both sets of grandparents. All the kids slept over and the grandparents came for pizza, cake, ice cream and movies, then they went and slept in their own beds. We woke up and had doughnuts and chocolate milk for breakfast. It was a great time.

On his actual birthday he started out the day with opening presents having his choice of breakfast (frenchtoast). He then went to school taking oreo's and suckers to share with his class. We went to dinner at Rock Creek Pizza. He told me he wanted to got to little ceasers for dinner, but that he wanted to eat inside. I told him you can't and so he settled for Rock Creek :) We went to the boat show after that. Grandpa Kane and Grandma Gin came with us to dinner and to the boat show. He said he had a great birthday! We love you Jaxon.
