Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

We had such a great Christmas. Every year we go to Grandma and Grandpa Bearden's house for Christmas Eve Dinner and a little party. We are lucky enough to have our own personal Santa that comes to visit the kids every year. We had such a great time. We ate dinner, exchanged gifts and did a white elephant game. After that we came home and let the kids open their new Christmas P.J's. Grandma Gin, Grandpa Kane, and Bailee came out to hang out a little that night. Christmas morning the kids were so much fun.. They woke up at about 7:30. Well, let me tell you what really happened. I woke up at about 2:00 to get Brooklyn a bottle and I could hear something upstairs. I go up so see and it is Makade. When he saw me he said "Hey mom, a rip-stick G". He was sitting up there watching TV and holding his rip-stick G. I sent him back to bed and then we all got up at 7:30. They all came running in so excited except Brooklyn. She didn't get it. They all loved everything they got. Their main gifts from Santa were Makade his rip-stick G. Jaxon a snowboard. Alex a baby, barbies and a barbie van. Brooklyn a baby and stroller. Craig and I surprised them with a new real 4-wheeler. They were so excited. They love riding it. Makade told one of his friends "I am really good at driving it, I have only tipped it over one time". This is true, but his friend didn't think of it as a positive thing. He wouldn't ride the 4-wheeler.... Christmas morning we always do a big breakfast with the Bearden family. This year it was at our house. It was a great time. With the big snow storm everyone got stuck at our house. I think everyone ended up having to be pulled out to leave.
We all usually meet up at my mom's that evening, but because of the snow my brothers didn't make it, we missed seeing them and their families. We had a great Christmas and hope you all did too.

Hey Jera, I've got that recipe for the wheat bread we make for you.
2/3 C Honey (if you can't have sugar, you could omit this and just add a little extra applesauce)
2/3 C Applesauce
5 C Warm Water
7-8 C Wheat Flour
2 TBLS Yeast
2 TBLS Salt

Proof the yeast-Mix the above ingredients. If dough is too wet or sticky, continue to add wheat flour until it is no longer sticky to knead. Knead for 5 min. Divide into 4 loaves, shape, put into greased pans and cover-let rise 1 hour. Bake at 350* for 35 min.
Enjoy!!

Jera, thanks for the comments. Yeah Aaron is a fanatic about his weight, he runs marathons all the time. He will go to Delta and no one recognizes him. He could have won the biggest loser!!!!
